Shipdham, Norfolk

Shipdham was closed in April 1999 and most of the aircraft were relocated to other airfields. This was due, I understand, to lease problems.

However, it appears that at the time of writing (Jan 10,2000) the landlady has agreed to lease the airfield to a members club formed from a group of ex-Shipdham-based aircraft owners and it is planned that the club will re-open the airfield on a limited scale early in 2000 (probably February). In fact, it is currently NOTAMed as unlicensed.
The airfield will be unlicensed and strictly PPR.
Hangarage will be available for up to 10 aircraft only.
